about

We’ve developed a piece of bespoke rigging infrastructure that transforms any standard shipping container into a robust, high-capacity structure capable of supporting aerial circus performance or the suspension of large-scale sculpture. Designed for adaptability, the system can be deployed in a range of configurations including single units, stacked formations, or fully integrated into temporary festival architecture.

For its first outing in 2025, the system debuted in the heart of Wellington. We triple-stacked shipping containers, ontop of this we installed our custom rigging interface to deliver a secure aerial anchor point with a 12-metre vertical performance space. The result was a striking fusion of industrial form and artistic possibility – a high rigging point that brought aerial performance into the heart of the city.

This project was made possible through the expertise and collaboration of Certa Engineering, McColl Engineering, YooCrew, and CubaDupa, whose partnership helped bring this bold concept from design to reality.
